Homework Homework Homework!

I swear, that's all I seem to do. This weekend I wrote my sociology paper on gay marriage which I think turned out relatively well. It's not quite as long as I was hoping for it to be but, quality is better than quantity! Tomorrow I have to go up to the school and take my math test(which I probably won't do very well on) and on Wednesday I have to resubmit my English paper because she apparently didn't think it was good enough. I thought it was pretty flipping awesome but whatever.

I'm wicked excited because in a few hours I'm going to head over to Ryan's house and see MEAGAN!!! I'm sooooooo excited that she's coming home! It's funny how we weren't really that close through her husband, Chris', first deployment but ever sense I helped her move to Cali we've gotten pretty close. Seeing as how I don't have many friends she's definitely my bestie and I love her to death! WELCOME HOME MEAGAN LOVE!!!

Well I'm off to beautify myself to welcome Meagan back home!

New Kitchen!

My mom and I are so excited! We were able to get a new stove and fridge with our income tax money! We went out searching for the best deal and went with Lowes. They delivered and installed them on Tuesday! We were soooooo excited but we didn't have anything to cook with the new stove so Mom and I went to Kroger to buy something to make lol.

Becky and Archie are in Florida this week so Ryan has had the house to himself. He's enjoying the quiet lol. I went out there after class Monday. I went to the post office to mail something for him and on my way there he texted me with some bad news. He didn't get the promotion that he was practically guaranteed to get. They gave the position to Habeeb, who is so unqualified for the job it's pathetic. Now that they have managed to make Ryan mad, he has put his resume out on Monster.com so hopefully that will help him get a new job. Since he was so disappointed that he didn't get the job I decided to cook him supper. I made roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, and rolls. I had bought a cherry pie to make but we were too full.

Now I am sitting at my "bosses" house holding a sweet little Jack. Michelle took Corbin to Great Wolf Lodge so I spent the night with Anne Mae and Jack. It was rough last night because they were both SO tired. Anne Mae threw several fits but went to bed without a fuss. She woke up at 7:30 and I got her off to school pretty easily. Surprisingly enough I actually went to sleep shortly after 10pm. I don't remember the last time I went to sleep that early!

Well I'm off to feed a hungry little Jack!

Spring cleaning

Since Mom has been gone I have been cleaning like crazy! I started with the kitchen, which I posted pictures of in the post before this one, but I didn't stop and the fridge and pantry. I went on the clean off the counters, the bar, and clean out the medicine cabinet, the glasses and coffee mugs, and the various food storage containers we have come into possession of over the years. By the way, why our family has and entire cabinet full of coffee mugs while only one family member (my father) drinks coffee is beyond me. I moved our deep freeze and microwave too.









Not only did I clean, literally, all day (from about noon to 6pm) I also made baked mac and cheese AND muffins! I made the baked mac and cheese for supper and then later that evening, around 10 or so, I got bored and wanted muffins. I made the honey bran kind, and yes, I cheated, they came in a bag lol. I burnt the first batch because the bag lied to me lol. It told me to cook them for fourteen minutes but I think they should have only gone for like ten.
